Welcome to Phi Beta Epsilon Phi Beta Epsilon fraternity is one of MIT's oldest fraternities, and has served as a home away from home for men of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for over 100 years. With a dedication to enriching the academic, cultural and social pursuits of its members, PBE shapes the lives of its actives, and enjoys the continued support of hundreds of alumni. The current brotherhood comes from a huge variety of geographic and cultural backgrounds, and is engaged in numerous college majors, sports, music and cultural groups, and other extracurricular activities. However, they are brought together by a desire to be leaders, to grow as men, and to have a ton of fun in college. Welcome to Phi Beta Epsilon.
A Letter from the President of Phi Beta Epsilon "I had no intention of joining a fraternity when I came to MIT’s campus. Fraternities, I assumed, were places where those stupid kids who somehow slipped through the cracks of the MIT admissions process went to drink their way through college until they went on to mediocre jobs and endeavors...And at the end of it all I pledged PBE..."
