Bio: Randall Briggs has spent the better part of his life in the desert wasteland known as New Mexico. Randall attended Albuquerque Academy for seven years where he got to know his graduating class of 150 people very well. In high school, Randall ran cross country for four years and participated in science olympiad as well. After graduation, Randall spent the next summer working at the Air Force Research Laboratory and finishing his Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America. Back in New Mexico, Randall used his free time to hike, camp, bike, off-road, shoot, ski, fly planes, and do other desert-related activities. Now in Cambridge, there are no mountains five minutes away by car, so Randall is forced to enjoy the water (a rare occurrence back home) of the Charles as he runs up and down the esplanade. MIT isn't easy, but heck, if he didn't want a challenge, he'd be at UNM...or Stanford.
